Draft EIS Fact Sheets
The MVC team developed a series of 13 fact sheets that summarized sections of the Draft EIS. The fact sheets provided those interested in the project with an accessible overview of key topics of interest that are thoroughly documented in the Draft EIS. Six of the fact sheets were translated and distributed in Spanish. All fact sheets were distributed to media, local government officials and the public. Copies were provided in the same distribution locations as the Draft EIS and posted on the project website. The fact sheets were also available at the public hearing and other presentations to stakeholder groups. After the hearings, copies were distributed to various stakeholders upon request. The fact sheets were titled in accordance with the Draft EIS chapter sections.
In addition, a fact sheet regarding Lehi City’s 4800 North Freeway Concept was also developed. The handout distributed at Draft EIS public hearings described the evaluation process agreed upon between Lehi City, FHWA and UDOT. A fact sheet was later developed and distributed in March 2008 upon completion of the 4800 North Connector Evaluation. The Final EIS documents the evaluation process and findings in detail.
